What we collect. From parents: your email address, sign-in and billing records (payments are handled by Stripe; we never see card numbers). From children: the first name or nickname and avatar you choose, the questions they answer, their answers and how long each took, and the progress we calculate from that. We do not collect a child's surname, date of birth, school, location or photograph, and children cannot enter free text anywhere in the app.

Why we use it. To run the service you asked for (contract), including adapting practice to your child, and to send you sign-in links and the analysis you requested. We use Anthropic's Claude model to analyse session results and write the coach's notes; the data sent is the question texts, answers and timings, and your child's first name. We use ElevenLabs to turn lesson text into speech; no personal data is sent for that. These providers act as our processors under contract and do not use the data to train their models.

Children. The service is designed for use by children under the supervision of a parent or guardian who holds the account. We follow the UK Age Appropriate Design Code: high-privacy defaults, no advertising, no profiling beyond what the learning service itself needs, and no sharing of children's data with third parties for their own purposes.

Retention and your rights. Data is kept while your account is open and deleted within 30 days of you closing it (Parent zone → Account → Delete account) except billing records we must keep for tax purposes. You can export your child's data, correct it, or ask us to delete it at any time, and complain to the ICO (ico.org.uk).

Cookies. We use only strictly necessary cookies: your sign-in session, which child is playing, and whether the parent PIN has been entered. No analytics or advertising cookies are set without consent.

Where data lives. Our database is hosted in [region]. Model analysis and speech synthesis are performed by our processors in the United States under standard contractual clauses.
